THUHDEG: The Human Help & Development Group
THUHDEG (The Human Help & Development Group) is a grassroots human development centered, voluntary/charitable NGO established in January, 1997, by a group of social workers and community development practitioners.
The NGO was formed in order to promote social protection and humanitarian support services for societies most marginalised persons through advocacy, provision of needs and facilitating communal self-help development initiatives in deprived communities.
Our aim is to facilitate and promote effective social protection needs of the vulnerable, marginalized and social destitute. Create opportunities through advocacy, innovative initiatives, strategic and participatory development programmes geared towards fighting poverty and hunger, promote peace, gender development and human rights, equity and sustainable development.

OUR CHARITY
THUHDEG was registered in 2000, with the Registrar-General’s Department (Registration No. G.633) as a company limited by guarantee and Department of Social Welfare (Registration No. DSW/1653) in 2002, to operate as a voluntary charitable NGO in Ghana.
