My time interning at THUHDEG was the most influential period of my life and has completely shaped my understanding of international development. Not only did I get to experience Ghanaian culture in a way I could not of even imagined, but I was also given the opportunity to truly understand the obstacles that the people of Ghana were facing in their every days lives.
